WARRIOR FOR LIFE PRESENTS "I LOVE FRANKLIN WEEK"

Posted November 18 2020

Full of homecoming games, dances, and galas, the week of Thanksgiving has historically been held close to the heart by all generations of the Franklin community.

Franklin’s favorite traditions will continue to look a little different this year, but the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic were met in stride by the Warrior for Life Scholarship Foundation.

From Sunday, November 22nd through Saturday, November 28th, the Warrior for Life Scholarship Foundation is hosting “I Love Franklin Week 2020”, their second annual week-long community celebration. Last year, the week was filled with live events and concluded with the Warrior for Life Scholarship Gala. To maintain social distancing and public health guidance, this year’s celebration will focus on bringing the community together to safely support Franklin’s restaurants, businesses, and non-profits.

“We noticed that Franklin businesses are suffering right now during the pandemic, so this year we're utilizing this special week as a time to bring people safely together to help one another and keep local businesses afloat,” Rebekah Solomon, co-founder of the Warrior for Life Scholarship Foundation and Principal of Franklin Park School.
